LIFAN MOTORCYCLE OWNERS UNITE!!!LifanOwners.com strives to be an un-biased, open source forum to help owners of Lifan motorcycles get the most out of their purchase. This site is not sponsored by Lifan, AmericanLifan, or any dealer of Lifan bikes, or any other motorcycle dealer or manufacturer. This is run by Lifan owners, and is solely here as a resource for Lifan Owners. We understand first that Lifan bikes are (how can I put this nicely?) CHEAP. They are typically purchased by folks who wanted a low cost, or entry level bike. For many of those folks - this may be their first bike, or may be all that they could afford. In many cases, it may be their only vehicle - their daily rider, and perhaps they can't afford for their bike NOT to work. If you are the proud owner of Lifan bike, whatever your circumstance, the last thing you need is to have bad experience. The problem is not particularly with the product, which being inexpensive you might expect they cut some corners, and you'll have the occasional failure as a result. You know going into the deal that when you buy a $2000 bike, you get a $2000 bike. But the lack of after purchase support for this product seems to be horrible, even inexcusable. (Possibly illegal - any laywers out there want to start a class action suit?) I've seen similar circumstances throughout the web. While there may be many places on the web to rant about the problem - we are (as of date) the ONLY unbiased site dedicated to SOLVING the problems, and making the Lifan experience more palatable. If you are a Lifan dealer - you may post any parts you have IN STOCK (all posts will be dated) and will be rated BY OUR OWNERS as to whether you deal honestly or not! If you don't have the part in stock, or jerk your customers around - don't even bother posting here or you will be tried by firing squad and found guilty. Whether you are having a problem, or if you have found the solution - post it here on lifanowners.com. Don't forget the PICTURES! If you have found a manual, a procedure, etc. Let us post it (or the link to it) here so we can help other Lifan owners find what they need. If you have formed a Lifan owners group in your city - we want to post it here so others can find it. If you have found a particular part that the dealer wouldn't (or couldn't) provide, let us know.
